Night Sky

There is an orange sliver of moon hanging low in the western sky tonight, above the glow of the Gardiner Expressway and the neon billboards. Its been fading in and out of sight as the clouds move across the sky. Its really cool and beautiful looking, and very unusual.

I wish that I could capture it on film, but I don't think it would be possible for my camera to be able to do it justice. I'll make do with recording the image in my mind's eye.

In other astronomic news, I believe that there is going to be a full moon on my birthday this year. This makes me happy.
