Views of the moon

5pm, Monday - Full, but slightly covered over with clouds so that it looked like a smudge of light in the sky. Imagine a lake on a clear summer night, with the moon reflected in it - thats what the sky looked like.

7am, Tuesday - Full, and clear in a dark blue sky to the west, while the sun slowly creeps up behind me in the eastern sky. If not for that, I would think I was looking at a middle of the night sky.

6pm, Tuesday - Full, starting to wane, and rising. By some trick of the light there is a flare to the light it throws, so it looks star like. Imagine the north star in the nativity story, that lit up the night.

Imagine what the moon may look like tonight ....
