Wanted: A Costumer

So, Halloween.

I'm all about the candy associated with this celebration, not so much with the dressing up part. Or rather, I'm rarely creative/inspired/interested in coming up with a costume for myself .... but I am willing to let others dress me up. (Perhaps not the best thing to admit on the internet...)

Which leads to instances such as this:
Halloween 2003 - Saf dressed me up, and we took in the sights of Church St. I love love love the blue glitter eyes (and it was ALL glitter) ... the shiny red pants were pretty cool too (all clothes/makeup property of Saf)

Halloween 2005 - This year was a little different - I let a friend dress me up, then we stayed in instead. No trick or treaters came, so more candy for us! I spent evening with a couple of my MLIS friends ... Colin & I went over to Angela's apartment, where after a yummy dinner, she got to pull out her 'tickle trunk' of medieval/Renaissance type costumes and dress all of us up. I quite enjoyed wearing the big swishy skirt (which you can't really see, but was a dark shiny blue) and the big sleeves and corset type dress. And a very pretty opal necklace, which also isn't really seen in the photos ... ah well. After posing, we then sat down and played Trivial Pursuit (which I'm pretty bad at, it turns out .... although a couple of my completely random guesses served me well by being correct!) Angela was very happy to have two new subjects to dress. :)

Soooo....... who's doing my costume next year?

  • Why, thank you, Lost. They were fun times, both of them.

Are we acquainted, by chance? Just wondering...
